Your shutters fit discreetly into the window frame. Requires a minimum recess depth of 60mm.
Step 1 – Check the Window Depth
Check that you have a minimum recess depth of 60 mm. If you have obstructions, check that the depth is 60 mm from the obstruction out to the edge of your window recess.
Step 2 – Measure the Inside Width
Measure the inside width of the window recess at three points:
- Top
- Middle
- Bottom
Use the smallest measurement when placing your order.
Step 3 – Measure the Inside Drop
Measure the inside height of the window recess at three points:
- Left
- Centre
- Right
Measure from the top of the window recess straight down to the bottom at each position.
Use the smallest measurement when placing your order.
Step 4 – Measure the Panel's Width
(3 or more panels)

Make a note of how many panels and which hinge combination you'd like. the less panels, the more light in your home.

For three or more panels, measure from the left inside edge of your recess across to the middle point of the vertical mullion that panel will cover, and write it down.
Repeat if you want another panel and start from the left edge. Don't worry about making an allowance for the shutter frame, as we'll do all that once you've ordered.

By default, your panels will be evenly spaced if you don't give us measurements. We recommend choosing the least amount of panels possible to maximise light.
Step 5 – Complete Your Order
Once you've confirmed your measurements, you're ready to place your order.

Your shutters attach seamlessly to the outside of your window frame or wall.
